Iron Ore’s high iron results catch Rio Tinto’s attention

IRON Ore Holdings has released results from its high grade iron assay drilling at the Boundary Prospect at Lamb Creek in central Pilbara region.

A reverse circulation drilling program of 22 holes was completed across 1,078m at the Boundary Prospect which showed high grade of Brockman Iron Formation of up to 38m @ 61.8%.

Iron Ore Holdings says the mineralisation from the results were so successful, the company was approached by Rio Tinto to enter an exclusive agreement to negotiate for the Iron Valley deposit.

According to Iron Ore Holdings, Rio Tinto also drew its attention on the Boundary Prospect which is located only 35kms from Rio Tinto’s own Yandicoogina mining operations and 6km from its rail line.
