ADS and Easternwell Group completes merge

IRONBRIDGE has announced the completion of a merger between Australian Drilling Solutions (ADS) and the Easternwell Group.

According to Ironbridge, the combined businesses will create a national operation with a diverse range of drilling and servicing capabilities within the energy, minerals and infrastructure sectors.

Ironbridge says its existing ADS busisiness, which specialises in deep and large diameter, water and production based drilling and offshore drilling for the infrastructure sector, would be complimented with Easternwell’s similar services.

ADS director Bill Cook says he is pleased with the merge and is looking forward to many great outcomes.

“The merger of ADS and Easternwell creates a unique, market leading, diversified drilling and services company, with an enviable blue-chip customer base, well positioned in the key sectors of energy, minerals and infrastructure.”

  • Hi Andrew, Thanks for the query. It's a merge between the two companies, rather a take over. So both ADS and Easternwell came to a joint agreement to put their sources together. I hope that answers your question.
